Bobsco Saudia executed the complete installation and commissioning of a Liquid Mud Plant at Saudi Aramco's Shaybah field — one of the Kingdom's most demanding upstream environments deep in the Empty Quarter.
The scope covered mechanical erection of mud-handling tanks, agitators and pumps; piping fabrication and hydrotesting; electrical interconnection and instrumentation tie-in; and full commissioning with handover to operations. All works were executed under Aramco's contractor HSE standards and the company's ISO-9001-aligned quality plan.
The LMP supports drilling operations across the Shaybah complex, providing precisely conditioned drilling fluids at the scale and reliability needed for one of the world's largest oilfield developments.
